One Sentence, One Page: It Rained

comics, ink work, pencil drawing

Previously on One Sentence, One Page: Self-Promotion

Today’s entry comes from a quote provided by James Wright, from one of Ken Bruen’s fantastic Jack Taylor crime novels.

“It rained, like it was personal.”

This first one is garbage. I was so disappointed with it, I didn’t even finish it.

I feel much better about this one. It’s definitely sloppy in a lot of spots (particularly the last panel…), but I’m getting more confident working with pen, and the improvement between these two pages (drawn roughly a month apart) is very encouraging.

  1. You’re too hard on yourself about the first one (far from “garbage”), but agreed, that second one is awesome! Love the personal touch with “The Elbow Room”. That guy could be you or me!
